Italian gothic/black metallers Lord Vampyr are set to release a new album after signing a record deal with Crank Music.The band shares the stage name of frontman Lord Vampyr (Alessandro Nunziati) who is best known for founding and fronting the legendary band, Theatres des Vampires for a decade.
Crank Music issued the following statement:
"Crank Music Group is proud to welcome, to its roster - the legend of Italian Gothic Black Metal: Lord Vampyr.
After 3 years since their last opera and numerous world tours, Lord Vampyr will be back with a 9 track full length, titled "Gothika Vampyrika Heretika", recorded at the KK Digital Recording studio.
"Gothika Vampyrika Heretika" is a mixture of sadness and fear, a return to the glories of the first productions of the singer and founder Alexander Nunziati, well known for his first project Theatres Des Vampires.
Complex Symphonies mixed with harsh brutality, a modern sound and remembrance for the past, a perfect soundtrack for the darkest of nights.
