Theatres des Vampires BANNED from Venezuela

Gothic metal band Theatres des Vampires arrived in Venezuela yesterday for the first show of their South American tour. However on arrival at the airport they were detained and later deported. This is shocking, and totally out of order. The band is very popular in Venezuela, and has played an influential role in recent Gothic culture. All they want to do is perform some great music for their devoted fans. Why should the government get in the way of this?

Is it because the band is "satanic"? Well, the band really isn't satanic at all, especially in their recent material, and even if they were, should it really be a valid reason for deportation? No, it shouldn't. Everyone should have the right to their own beliefs, culture and religion. Nobody is forcing anybody to attend a Theatres des Vampires concert, if fans want to enjoy them live, and the band wants to play live, then the government doesn't have any place to stop this.

Stop and consider this. Think of problems Theatres des Vampires and the related culture cause across the world, and think of all the problems that Christianity causes across the world. Gothic culture keeps itself to itself, doesn't try and force itself upon anyone, or interfere with the lives of others. Christianity is corrupt, it tries to take over the world and force everyone to follow it's way. This story itself is an example of how religion has too much influence in politics where it should really have no place at all.
It is shocking that drug traffickers have more freedom in Venezuela than a group of kind and talented people who would never cause any harm to anyone at all.
